Throughout history, God has called generations upon generations of believers to write and sing songs to Him. We celebrate the diversity of past and present generations of songs by singing combinations of older hymns, newer hymns, older praise choruses, and newly written praise choruses. This diversity of styles serve our multi-generational church and community well, and reflects a small image of what it will be like some day when
all types of people are gathered to praise God.
After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
"Salvation belongs to our God,
who is seated on the throne,
and to the Lamb! "
