Jesus' disciples, like us, were far from perfect. Though they tried to follow Him obediently, they were perfectly capable of missing what was important. On a certain day, godly parents were bringing their children to be blessed by Jesus, yet the disciples corrected them, believing that Jesus was too busy and
important to bother with children. Jesus corrected his "adult children."
"Leave the children alone, and don't try to keep them from coming to Me, because the kingdom of heaven is made up of people like this." (Matthew 19:14 HCSB).
We prioritize children at our church, because they matter to God. For that reason, we provide engaging, age-appropriate classes whose teachers seek each week to connect deep life-changing truths of
Scripture with the life experiences of the children.
Whether it is the 50+ volunteers who serve in the great summer VBS programs, the dedicated Sunday morning teachers, our rotating volunteers who make Children's Church (1st-4th) grade possible, or our Wednesday night children's leaders, you will find that grace and truth characterize our children's ministries.
